Alright so I forgot a couple things on the last post. Apparently, I didn't graduate. Yep, I'm one measly, rediculous general credit short of graduating. How stupid.
Alright mom, here's another awful child in Target story for you. There was this mom with two kids in Target the other day and she wanted the kids to share the popcorn. The little girl (I'll call her Emily) was sitting in the front of the cart and the older little boy (I'll call him Brad) was walking. Well, apparently Emily didn't want to share so the mom gave the popcorn to Brad. Emily threw a FIT! She was pretty much trying to climb out of the cart to get the popcorn. She was screaming, crying, and throwing herself at Brad trying to reach it. Brad really didn't know what to do so he just kind of stared at her and kept eating. Well finally a coworker of mine went over and gave the kids stickers that we have for safety. When that didn't calm Emily down she went and got another bag to put the popcorn in (which would have avoided this whole scene in the first place!). Well of course Emily can't have any right now because she's been acting like a brat so mom takes her out of the cart (?!) and lets her walk around. Emily doesn't like this either apparently because she takes her shoes off and lays face down, sprawled out on the floor in the men's department still crying and screaming. Mom is nearby but she walks away for a while leaving all passers by to stare in amazement at Emily and at the fact that us workers aren't more concerned about the situation. Well about 30 minutes later I walk to the front to go on break and they're at the pharmacy and Emily is finally content sitting in the cart eating her popcorn (probably cold by this time). Boy, as annoying as it was all we could do was laugh.

Updates 1...2...3
So I got on here thinking I would do a quick post...after all the trouble I had to go through to sign in it's not even worth it. It kept saying I needed to make a google account and it asked me for my current e-mail address. So I put it in there and after a minute or two of re-entering a few things it finally said "There is already a user with this name." Well no kidding...IT'S ME! Anyway, I don't know what happened but it finally let me log in.
Update 1: Things are going swimmingly with the house. We got it appraised and it's worth almost $30,000 more than what we're paying for it. We made a great deal! We just need to get a couple of things around for our mortgage and homeowners insurance and we should be able to close next week! I am so excited!
Update 2: Wedding plans are going pretty well. We still need to figure out our cake situation but I think it will work out well. I should be getting my centerpieces from a friend of Mom H. so that would be a cheap and wonderful way to go. Favors will be getting done here shortly, I just need to find the right size something. And finally, I will be buying my invitations soon too. I get paid tomorrow so I think I'll buy them this weekend or early next week. There's still a lot to do but it's coming along. Only 5 months away!
Update 3: I'm still in the process of looking for a steady 9-5. So if anyone hears of anything or knows someone who can get me in somewhere I would greatly appreciate a mention. I've applied to many places through Monster.com but so far nothing has come back. Well, one company called me in for an interview but it was downtown and I'd rather work closer to home...plus I hate driving downtown. I put an application in to this realty company in Cascade area so that's the one I'm really hoping for right now. But we'll see how it goes.

House

Last week John and I put on offer on a house
(<--- this house). Yesterday the bank accepted it! We have to do all the inspections and what not, but as soon it passes inspection (God willing) we'll have our very own house! We're excited to start working on it and making it our own. We're hoping to close by the end of this month and then John will move in a couple months before our wedding. This is a huge deal for us and we're very excited. I'll keep you updated on how things come along. And yes, the "barn" is actually the "garage."
